Here are highlights of our agenda on January 22nd:

-- We'll hear from our special guest, LAFD Chief Moore, who will engage in Q&A with meeting attendees. 

-- Time allowing, we'll take up a motion to support a motion in City Council by Councilwoman Park to regulate "sober living' density (spacing of facilities) in residential neighborhoods.
 

-- We''ll have updates, announcements and reports on numerous matters, including the NORC Survey Report, the open 2nd Alternate seats for Areas Two, Six and Eight, changes in some of the important PPCC Committees, and tentative upcoming public meetings (March 5, 2026: special Board meeting tto discuss the NORC survey results; February 11, 2026: LUC public meeting regarding a "density bonus" mixed-use project proposed for Sunset Blvd. in the commercial Village).  
 

Permit Fee Waivers to Be Taken Up Again!

The City Council Budget & Finance Cmtee will take up a report and recommendation by the City's CAO regarding permit fee waivers for the Palisades, tomorrow, January 20 (meeting begins at 2pm). See the Agenda, item 2 and the CAO Report. (option 3 recommended). Palisadians are encouraged to attend the meeting to support the proposed fee waivers. For City Hall parking arrangements, email William Ayala of CD 11 with your vehicle's make, model, color and license plate number.

PPCC Land Use Committee (LUC) Meeting

The PPCC LUC is planning a special meeting for February 11, 2026, to hear from the owners/developers of a proposed mixed-use, "density bonus" project at 15113 Sunset Blvd. in the commercial Village.  The  public is invited to attend and learn more about the project and governing state and city laws.  Stay tuned for more information.

PPCC Special Meeting
re the NORC Survey Report 
Tentative March 5, 2026, 6pm via Zoom

PPCC is also planning a special meeting for March 5, 2026 (date tentative), to discuss and answer questions about tthe NORC Report on the PPCC-NORC Community Survey. A representative of NORC will be present to explain the survey methodology and provide insight as to the results. Stay tuned for more information once the date is confirmed.  All are invited to this important meeting!
