The opening of the George Wolfberg Park at Potrero Canyon is planned for Saturday, December 3rd.
 
PPCC Board and community members are invited to the opening event for the George Wolfberg Park at Potrero canyon. RSVP HERE.

On Tuesday November 22, 2022, Councilmember Bonin introduced Motion at LA City Council, cementing the park's operating hours from Sunrise to Sunset and asking Park Rangers to enforce those hours (and other regulations posted by signage) on a daily basis. SEE the motion HERE.

With that, I’d like to congratulate our community on this upcoming milestone and hope everyone will responsibly enjoy the park, which will feature a riparian way, a 12 foot soil/cement pathway and plenty of views to enjoy, from dawn till dusk.
 
PPCC Will also hold a virtual community meeting on December 1st with city officials for informational purposes
 

REMINDER
The LA Department of Water & Power (LADWP) will host a public meeting on November 30, 2022 to discuss the planned Pacific Palisades substation. This public webinar is part of the CEQA process, and PPCC members as well as the Palisades community are encouraged to attend.

PPCC has invited LADWP to our January meeting (one of two), but until then, this webinar (see details below) provides an opportunity for the community to hear plans and timeline DWP may have to propose.
