The Pacific Palisades Community Council (PPCC), in partnership with the Pacific Palisades Library Association (PPLA) and Palisades Charter High School (PCHS), present a youth Art Exhibit to help celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the PPCC.
We are pleased to announce that, as an extension of our 50th Anniversary Jubilee & Community Celebration, new are partnering with the Palisades Branch Library (LAPL), the Pacific Palisades Library Association (PPLA), and with Palisades Charter High School (PCHS) Photography Department to bring you the creative expression of our youth, in celebration of community.
PPCC was established by a group of community minded Palisadians in 1973, and since then the organizations has developed its board with elected and appointed representatives from both community residents and neighborhoods as well as nonprofit organizations and business groups. We are proud to say that both PPLA and PCHS are rotating members of our board, as are another 50 individuals who represent various important interests across the Palisades.
This year, as we celebrate our 50th year as the organization that provides a forum for the discussion of community issues, we are proud to celebrate alongside the more than 30 organizations who participated in our Anniversary Jubilee & Community Celebration in September at Simon Meadow, and with our fabulous community youth who have submitted wonderful works of creativity and art for display.
This exhibit was curated by Rick Steil, Palisades High School Photography Instructor (Photo I, Photo II, and AP Photo), and is hosted at the Palisades Library with the help and support of our friends at the Pacific Palisades Library Association, from Friday, November 3rd through Tuesday, November 22nd. The exhibit can be seen from noon to 5PM, daily.
PPCC is pleased to be part of this community, and proud to be serving all its residents since 1973.
