What's on the Agenda?

SPECIAL NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH &
PUBLIC SAFETY / CRIME PRESENTATIONS

We'll welcome experienced Neighborhood Watch coordinators -- Cyndi Hench / Westchester and Kathy Morgan / Brentwood -- who will provide tips on how to form Neighborhood Watch groups and discuss how we can benefit from establishing them.  We'll also hear from LAPD SLO Brian Espin, who will join to discuss public safety and crime prevention.

We urge all Palisades stakeholders -- residents in HOA areas, those in areas without HOAs (e.g., the Alphabet Streets, Via Mesa/Bluffs and El Medio Bluffs), and even businesses -- to attend and learn about the "how to's" and benefits of organizing a Neighborhood Watch group for your area or block!

-- We'll also have updates about the annual PPCC Awards nominations process and the December Awards Gala event!
Reminder:  Awards Nominations Due in 5 Days!

We continue to encourage community members to
submit nominations for the 2024

Citizen of the Year
and Golden Sparkplug honors!

Send nominations to info@pacpalicc.org
no later than 8pm on October 26.

A few words about awards eligibility:
The Golden Sparkplug award is for community members who voluntarily ignited an original effort or project that was initiated, in progress or completed within the past year or two, which benefitted the entire community. Persons eligible for Sparkplug awards include Palisades youth as well as adult residents, property owners and/or business operators.

Citizen of the Year honors are bestowed on special individuals who have contributed both long term voluntary service plus a recent extraordinary accomplishment for the betterment of the Palisades. Adult residents of Pacific Palisades are eligible for Citizen of the Year.

Optional Pride of the Palisades honors may sometimes be awarded in exceptional cases, at the discretion of the Awards Event Committee:  Quentin Fleming (PPCC VP & Committee Chair); Sharon Kilbride, Karen Ridgley, JoAnna Rodriguez and Chris Spitz (PPCC Elected Reps & Committee Members).
For other details and requirements, see the
 Awards Nominations Notice.
