NOMINATIONS FOR COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER HONORS ARE NOW OPEN
WE INVITE THE COMMUNITY TO NOMINATE VOLUNTEERS For the Citizen of the Year, Golden Spakplus and Pride of the Palisades awards. Please see the guidelines for each accolade, outlined below.
At our first October PPCC Meeting (10/12/23) we announced the formation of the Awards Selection Committee (ACS): Daphne Gronich (Committee Chair and former Citizen of there Year), Sue Kohl (PPCC Vice President), Beth Holden Garland (PPCC Secretary), Ryan Craig (PPCC Primary representative in the Environment category), Diana Danielle (PPCC 2nd Alternate for Area 2).

Deadline for receipt of nominations/submission accepted will be the last day of October (October 31st) at 11:59 pm. (The President has extended this date in order to accommodate the 2023 calendar date of our first October meeting).
The ASC is will meet after the 31st of October and before the 9th of November (the date of our regular PPCC November meeting), in order to select the honorees and announce them at our first November meeting, which will be held on November 9th - in person - at the Palisades Library Community Room.

Holiday Dinner & Awards Gala details to follow. PPCC President will announce the Awards Event Committee (AEC), and has already begun working on venue selection, plans and preparations for the annual event celebrating our volunteers!
