Holiday Event & New Year Good Wishes

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our Holiday Dinner and Awards Gala on December 14th. It was a wonderful event that brought together so many members of the community, to celebrate the remarkable honorees as well as our community at large. Rich Schmidt has shared with us some wonderful pictures below, and we will share more as they become available. The feedback from our event has been heartwarmingly positive. 

We thank our honorees again for their selfless efforts, and our presenters: Peter Culhane, Lou Kamer, Rusty Redican, Sharon Kilbride, Steve Boyers, Howard Robinson, Maryam Zar, Janet Turner, George Wolfberg, Andrew Woldberg, Sylvia Boyd and Bob Benton, as well as our fabulous MC, Sam Lagana!
 

Our thanks to Assemblymember Richard Bloom and Councilmember Mike Bonin for joining us for the festivities and awards presentations. Our thanks to Senator Ben Allen, Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, School Board member Nick Melvoin and ASM Bloom for donating auction items to our silent auction, as well Caruso Affiliated, Vintage Grocers, Susan Payne, LAPD, LAFD and our youth advisers for their unique auction offerings.

The evening was a fun filled success and we are grateful to the community for supporting this volunteer board, and our work on behalf of the community throughout the year. Congratulations again to Bruce Schwartz, Tom Creed, Matthew Rodman, Marie Steckmest, Debbie Warfel and Nancy Klopper.
